Returns & Exchanges

Every Forgewell piece is made by hand in small batches. I stand behind the quality of what I make. If something is not right, I want to make it right.

The short version

  • Returns and exchanges accepted within 30 days of delivery
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached
  • One free fit exchange per order — I cover return shipping on that first swap
  • Defective or incorrect items: I cover return shipping, always
  • All other returns: buyer covers return shipping
  • Refunds issued to your original payment method or store credit — your choice
  • Custom-sized items and sale/clearance items are final sale

Fit exchanges

Every order includes one free fit exchange. I will cover the return shipping label on that first swap.

To start a fit exchange, email hello@forgewelloutdoor.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the size or fit you want to swap to. I will check stock and get back to you within 1–2 business days.

If the size you need is not currently in stock, I will add you to the priority list for the next batch and notify you as soon as it is available.

Second exchanges on the same order are accepted within the 30-day window, but return shipping is the buyer's responsibility from that point.


Returns for refund

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

Refunds are issued within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item. You can choose a refund to your original payment method or store credit — just let me know when you reach out.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived defective or incorrect.


Defective or incorrect items

If your order arrived damaged, with a construction defect, or is not what you ordered, email hello@forgewelloutdoor.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.

I will cover return shipping and make it right — replacement, repair, or full refund depending on the situation. No hoops.

After 30 days, manufacturing defects are eligible for repair or replacement at my discretion. Defects from normal trail wear, customer modifications, or improper care are not covered. When in doubt, reach out — I will be straight with you about what I can do.


Custom sizing & sale items

Custom-sized items and sale or clearance items are final sale unless the item is defective or incorrect. This is disclosed at checkout.


Repairs

If a seam fails or something goes wrong with construction beyond the return window, reach out. I will assess on a case-by-case basis and do what I can. Repairs from normal wear, trail abuse, or customer modifications are not covered under the Maker's Guarantee, but I am always happy to talk through options.


How to start a return or exchange

  • Email hello@forgewelloutdoor.com with your order number and reason
  • I will respond within 1–2 business days with instructions
  • Ship the item back in original packaging if possible
  • Refunds or exchange shipments processed within 5–7 business days of receiving your return
